DESTIN, FLA. (APRIL 27, 2022) Following a recent acquisition, AmCoat™ Industrial announced that its premier brand, Rhino Shield®, showed record growth in the first quarter of 2022. The 20-plus year division grew by 76 percent year over year.
CEO Terence Andre attributed the growth to their dealers and increased customer demand.
“We had tremendous performance by our southern tier dealer network,” said Andre. “Records were set in many areas including Florida and Arizona. And there continues to be strong demand from customers for the Rhino Shield 25-year performance warranty. More than 1,000 homes and commercial properties were protected by Rhino Shield in the first quarter, far eclipsing last year’s performance.
“In addition, new ownership continues to invest heavily in R&D and new dealer acquisition and support — this is directly impacting our top and bottom lines.”
Rhino Shield is currently seeking new dealers in areas where they would like to serve. Vice President of Sales and Dealer Development Jerold Hall said prospective new dealers are discovering the benefits of being a dealer.

“With our latest upgrade we’ve developed the highest performing ceramic elastomeric coatings in the industry bar none,” said Andre. “Our engineers have improved adhesion, elongation, tensile strength and permeability — all of which are crucial to long term performance of an architectural wall coating.”
AmCoat’s Floor Shield™ brand continued to significantly expand its dealer network across the country increasing 90 percent year over year.
“Floor Shield customers continue to be attracted to our one-day floor system,” said Hall. “We added 15 new dealers in the first quarter and are getting more than 60 dealer inquiries per month from all over the U.S. including Salt Lake, Indianapolis, Maryland, Boston, Grand Rapids Boise and Daytona Beach.”
AmCoat anticipates greatly expanding it Rhino Shield dealer distribution network and doubling its Floor Shield dealer distribution network in the next one to two years.
